DUSTIN, Wynn

1936 - 2024

The family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Wynn Dustin, in his 88th year on September 16, 2024. He was the beloved husband of 57 years to the late Faye Dustin (Ticehurst).

Wynn leaves to mourn his children Randy (Maria), Wendy (Neil) and Kelly (Florent); his grandchildren Shannon (Wayne), Ashlee (Marc), Alicia (Nick), Amy (Michaël), Natacha (Marcus), Nathaniel (Maude). He was the grandfather of the late Christopher. His great-grandchildren Connor, Nolan, Evan, Ava, Caleb, Jacob, Logan, Elodie, Mallika, Derek and Lexie. He was the great-grandfather of the late Madison. Brother of the late Weldon, Leta, the late Lorna and Lillian. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Wynn was born in North Hatley in 1936. He was the youngest of 5 children. His parents were Thomas and Edith Dustin. He worked most of his younger life farming and later drove school bus for many years.

Many know Wynn as an honest, generous and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a great Santa, pizza party organizer (school bus) and loved a good joke. His favorite pastimes included playing the organ, gardening, sugaring and genealogy. He will be greatly missed.

A special thank you to Dr. Anne Suprenant for her care and support.

There will be a private burial at a later date, as per his request.

Donations to the Griffin Hill Cemetery, 10 St-Joseph, Stanstead, QC J0B 3E0 would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Randy, Wendy and Kelly. I think of your dad often, and always with a smile. As kids, we seem to take for granted that 'big people' around us who are generous with their time and attention...I have realized through the years that your dad was one of those people.
My thoughts are with you, and hope you and your families are well.

Wynn's Family

My deepest condolences to all Wynns family. He was a wonderfully kind man. He made everyone's day brighter as a bus driver. I remember at the last day of school he would let us have a water fight on the bus. I'll always remember that.
He will be missed by many.
