William John Trippear ‘’Billy’’, at the age of 73, passed away August 21, 2024. William was born the second of four children to Basil ‘’John’’ and Beverly Trippear on the 21st of May 1951 and was raised in Melbourne. He was an accomplished mechanic, a well-known musician who had a passion for anything and everything that could go fast. He was one of a kind and loved by many.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, his sister Donna and his son Mark.
He is survived by his daughter Lisa (Jean-Marc); his grandchildren Logan, Mérédith, Angélique, Lucas, Joshua; his daughter-in-law Séverine; his brothers Kent (Suzy) and Raymond (Josée); his nieces and nephews Stacy, Kelly, Jennifer, Jessica, Tabitha Ricky, Alex, and Chris; and many friends over the years.
The 21st of September 2024, from 11 am to 3 pm, at the St. Andrew’s Church in Melbourne (The Perkins Museum), the family will receive condolences from people who would like to pay their respect.
A private burial service for family and close friends will be held at the St. Andrew’s Cemetery after 3 pm, Reverend Reg Jennings officiating.
I would like to give special thanks to the CHUS staff that took such good care of Dad over the years up to his passing, and to my cousin Stacy. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for all of you.
