With his loving family by his side, at the age of 84, Roy Gallibois passed away after battling with Alzheimers & Vascular Dementia, in Aylmer, QC on May 23, 2024. Born on February 23, 1940 in St. Augustine, QC. Roy lost his parents Edmond and Virginia Gallibois at a young age and was raised by his siblings, Violet (Joseph) Monger, Edgar (Rita) Gallibois, Diane (Ghislain) Degrace, Wilfred (Ivy) Gallibois and his cousin, Lambert (Maggie) Gallibois. Roy was the youngest of his family and the last to pass away.
For forty-seven years, Roy was a loving husband to his late wife, Meva Nadeau, and together they raised a wonderful family in La Tabatiere, QC. Roy was a beloved father to their son, Murray Nadeau, and daughters, Jane Nadeau, Leona (Adelard) Cormier, Lisette (Barry) Gallibois, Camilla (Mike) Gallibois, Lorelee (Neil) Gallibois, and Colinda (Ross) Lavallee. Roy later lived his life in Sherbrooke, QC and was a devoted partner to Pauline Briere. Roy leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love and family, and his love extended to his sixteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren who blessed his life.
During his life, Roy touched the hearts of those around him with his kindness, generosity, and warm spirit. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, June 2nd from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St, Sherbrooke, QC J1M 1T9.
A Funeral Service celebrating Roy's life will be held on Monday, June 3, at 11:00 am at St. Patrick’s Church, 20, rue Gordon, Sherbrooke, Quebec J1H 4Y5.
Followed by interment at St. Antoine Cemetery, 24 St. Francis St., Sherbrooke, QC, J1M 0B3.
Donations can be made in Roy’s memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
