1931 - 2024

We are saddened to announce the passing of Mr. John R. Kimpton on September 16th, 2024, at the CHUS-Fleurimont, in his 93rd year. He was the husband of the late Mary Bronson.

He leaves to mourn his children Beverly (Grant), Wendy and Cheryl (David). He was predeceased by his son John (Sandra). He will be missed by his grandchildren Joe, Timothy, D.C., Andrew, Naomi as well as numerous great-grandchildren. He will dearly be missed by his long-time loving companion Jean Rourke and family, many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 12th, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at the St-Matthias Anglican Church, 817 Chem. Sheldon, Fitch Bay, QC J1X 3W4.

All who loved him and cared for him

we lost a true gentle giant, I haven’t known him for very long but for the short brief moments that we spent time together, I remember his smile, determination, demand to be independent, His silence strength- which I will greatly miss.
