Members Have a Say
The members of a cooperative, who are the legal owners by this title, democratically guide and control their cooperative, EACH having the right to ONE VOTE at the general assembly.
The highest authority in the cooperative is the general assembly of members. However, since members cannot meet at all times to manage their cooperative, they elect administrators from among themselves to whom they delegate their authority between general assemblies.
Each year, these administrators, who form the board of directors, must convene all members at a general assembly to present the cooperative’s financial statements, the results of their administration, and to allow members to express their wishes.
It is during this assembly that members proceed to elect new administrators, if necessary, according to the cooperative's bylaws.
Participation in the Development of Your Cooperative
A member's contribution can take many forms in the Cooperative.
The board of directors is another venue for member participation, where administrators must ensure that the wishes of the general assembly are respected.
The welcome and bearer committees allow members to actively participate in the Cooperative.
The organizing committee for the conference "Let's Talk About Death!" allows members who wish to contribute to this significant event.
Finally, by expanding our range of services (PROFIL Journal, documentation center, brochures, videos, information documents), we aim to foster contact between members and their Cooperative from the moment they join and throughout their lives.
